If you are a big fan of “Pitch Perfect” and the song ‘Royals’ by Lorde, then you will love this cover. So here are the Florida State University “AcaBelles”.
I absolutely adore it - suggestive, subtle... it's a break from the tits & ass we see on magazine covers month after month, year after year.
Youtube might be a site that is 99% unwatchable shorts that make no sense and are, quite honestly, a waste of internet space… but every now and again i find a video that reminds me why Youtube is awesome.
Sisters Lennon and Maisy, 12 and 8 respectively, recorded themselves doing a cover of Robyn’s “Call Your Girlfriend”. I’ve heard thousands of covers in my lifetime, so it takes something really special for me to stop and pay attention. Their voices blend perfectly, you can tell that they both are crazy talented, and together they are enchanting…
Makes me feel a little bit like an underachieving talentless lump, but they’re too cute to hold it against them
And if you liked that, these are worth taking a look at too:
Hey, i just heard this,
and it is crazy,
Fun made a cover,
of call me baby!
In my opinion, this little music video should replace the original by Gotye… watch it all the way through, it’s definitely worth the bandwidth! If i can have kids that like to do stuff like this, then i will have done my job as a parent
This is the description of the video from the Youtube Account that posted it:
Two six year old friends who love the song “somebody that I used to know” by GOTYE make a music video…
The two children in the video are my girlfriend’s son and his friend. A couple of months ago, they saw the GOYTE music video for SOMEBODY THAT I USED TO KNOW and fell in love with it. When they were riding in the car together, they would request it constantly and loved singing it. We joked about making a video for the song and the children loved the idea. One day, I set up a go pro camera behind my seat and when they got in the car, they saw the camera and got really excited. We filmed it over a few car rides and then I edited it together.
I can’t stop laughing… honestly.
And if you’re new to Miranda, here are a couple of her other gems. So talented, her parents must be really proud:
Gotye has became the first Australian, since Savage Garden, to score a #1 single in the USA for his hit “Somebody That I Used to Know.”*
